6 gold awards for the sustainability of our residential construction projects

In 2025, six projects by WALTER REAL ESTATE were awarded the ÖGNI Gold certification for particularly sustainable construction projects. In addition to the ecological quality, the socio-cultural and functional quality as well as the choice of location are included in the assessment – criteria that have played a central role at WALTER REAL ESTATE from the very beginning and at the same time lay the foundation for the EU taxonomy.

The projects Apollogasse 16–18 and Spengergasse 42 received the Gold certificate, the Hochsatzengasse 16, Lautensackgasse 16A, Leopold-Ernst-Gasse 10 and Marnogasse 3, which are currently still under construction, received the pre-certificate in Gold. Innovative thermal insulation, efficient heating systems and photovoltaic systems support the reduction of environmental pollution. Large window areas and carefully considered room concepts create bright, comfortable apartments, while environmentally friendly materials further minimize the ecological footprint. The ÖGNI Awards underline our consistent commitment to future-oriented construction and the creation of living space that is ecologically sustainable, functionally high-quality and socially responsible.
